Skype

Talk to your friends over the internet for free.  This is brilliant and sooooo cheap!   All you need is a built-in microphone on your computer (otherwise it's a very one-sided conversation) but even if you haven't got one, you can buy a headset or phone from the Skype store or even Amazon.  Skype is fantastic if you use your computer a lot (not so good for the Crowleys of this world tho!!!!! ) You can also buy SkypeOut credits to call your non-computer attached buddies on their landlines.  I called my parents for 45 minutes in Spain and it only cost me €97 cents.  I can't praise Skype enough.  GET IT - IT"S BRILLIANT!!!

1&1

Want your own website?  1&1 offer very reasonable and secure packages for home users.   According to 'Practical Web Projects' Magazine, "1&1 monitors their hosting facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week with more than 150 permanently recording cameras."  I wish all web host servers were as secure!!

Get Firefox!

Firefox

A great new internet browser that's taking the world by storm. Try it, it's sooo much better (and more secure) than Internet Explorer (and yes, it's also for Windows users!).  Wouldn't you like the ability to use tabbed browsing, instead of opening up a new page for every site you visit?  Go on, download it!  Internet Explorer's crown is slipping - only 86.63% of the population are still using it as opposed to 97% this time last year!

Downloads so far (continuously updated)...... Watch out IE, your days are numbered!

The Life of Riley

Run by Bob's brother-in-law.  Click on the image if you are interested in a walking holiday in the Sierra Nevada region of Spain which is where Brenda (sister) and Martin now live.  Oh, if you've ever read 'Driving Over Lemons', this is region of Spain that the holidays are spent in.
